If you wish to apply for study at the Faculty of Technology, you still have the opportunity to do so. You can send an electronic application for full-time or part-time study between 15 June and 30 July 2010. For detailed information please see the relevant regulation relating to the 3rd round of the admissions procedure.

Do you like watching Indonesian dances on TV? If so, just come and see what is going to happen in the atrium at the University Centre at 10:00 am on Friday 7 May. You will have a wonderful chance to enjoy a performance by students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional, Yogyakarta, and you will also be provided with some information on Indonesia.

Well, don't hesitate to come and experience the real exotic atmosphere on Friday.

In connection with the TBU Rag Day to be held on Tuesday 4 May 2010, the Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín has announced half a day off for the day, starting at 11 am. On the basis of the Rector's Resolution No. 03/2010, no classes, examinations or tutorials will be held at the given time at any of the TBU faculties.

A new website of the TBU Rag Day 2010 has been launched. It is available on http://majales.utb.cz. The theme of this year's Rag Day is the Universe. You can look forward to a lot of music stars, co(s)mic competitions and never-ending fun! Let's explore the Universe now. We are taking off on 4 May 2010.

In connection with the introduction of candidates for the Academic Senate of Tomas Bata University in Zlín to take place from 1pm to 4 pm on Wednesday 10 February 2010, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology has announced an official day off for the day.

Regulation No. 02/2010: The Completion of the Follow-Up Master's Programmes in the Academic Year 2009/2010 can be downloaded here. This regulation applies to both full-time and part-time students and is only available in Czech.

Regulation No. 01/2010: The Registration of the Bachelor and Master Theses in the Academic Year 2009/2010 can be downloaded here. It is only available in Czech.

In accordance with the TBU AS Election and Procedure Rules, the TBU Academic Senate has announced elections for membership of the Academic Senate of Tomas Bata University in Zlín for 2010 – 2013.

At the Faculty of Technology, the elections will be held on 15 – 19 February 2010. In compliance with the TBU Statute, the election is of four senators to represent academic staff and two senators to represent students.

Once the winter re-examination period 2009/2010 has finished, results achieved by first-year full-time students studying in Bachelor's programmes will be checked. The Dean's Guideline (available in Czech) concerning this inspection may be downloaded here .
